Greig Timkoe

Operations Director, Ampersand.

Timkoe is an aspiring polymath who specialises in critical thinking and creative problem solving by connecting the dots between ideas, drawn from diverse bodies of formal and informal knowledge gained across his studies and career spanning 20 years.

This includes his time and training as a conflict management and small group dynamics practitioner, where he served as a mediation panellist with the South African Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development. He has also served as a lecturer of conflict management at Nelson Mandela University (Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Business School MBA), where he completed his Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Transformation.

He also has extensive experience as a registered Insolvency Practitioner with the South African Department of Justice where he works with financially struggling or insolvent businesses and individuals, both inside and outside of statutory insolvency procedures.

At Ampersand, a creative consultancy he co-founded, Timkoe works with multi-disciplinary groups, and oversees human centred design initiatives that aim to create sustainable solutions that seek to actualize all parties.

Timkoe’s work has been recognised by the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber’s ‘Top 40 Under 40 Award’.
